This Queen concert was what rock shows in 1980 aspired to be. The incredible synchronized stage lights, Freddie's voice, Brian May's unique guitar sound, and of course, all my favorite Queen songs. This show was arena rock at its pinnacle. This concert also held my scariest concert mishap. I thought I was going to be trampled when the crowd rushed the stage for the encore. When the audience came down from the seats surrounding the floor, we in the floor seats started off standing up, then standing on the seat of our folding chairs to see over them. Unfortunately the crowd surged forward as we were standing on our chairs and they started collapsing underneath us. Luckily I avoided serious injury, I could see people around me banging themselves up pretty good. Ah, what I went through to present these photos to you nearly a quarter of a century later. Kj
